ESOL for work

Our new type of English for Speakers of Other Language (ESOL) courses will help you get the language skills you need to get a job.
If English is your second language and you need to improve your language, computer and employability skills in order to get a job, then depending on the current level of your English skills an ESOL for Work or English works in... course is the right one for you.
The course is free for learners who receive Job Seekers Allowance and who are looking for work.
What will I learn?
These courses will help you to improve your communication skills and learn the language, Information Technology and employability skills you will need to look for and find a job and to use in the workplace environment.
- Information Technology skills will include producing Microsoft Word documents, using the internet to access information and using the JCP Universal Jobmatch to look for jobs.
- Employability skills will include completing forms, time management and finding out about suitable jobs.

Contact Brasshouse Language Centre on 0121 303 1649 to book an appointment for an assessment. Please bring your passport and proof that you receive Job Seekers Allowance.
